Review: Simple Holiday Glam + Glad Lash Review ❤

It's the most wonderful time of the yearrr! Though this post is already late for Christmas I think it's just right on time for the New Year! :D  Christmas is my favourite time of the year, I love it so much not just because of the presents but because I believe that it's the time of love and giving. You get to spend a special day with the people you love. Another reason why I love Christmas is I get to do my make up a little bit glamorous (lol) Today I will be sharing a simple Holiday glam that everyone can totally pull off, it's simple but a beautiful eye glam!

This is the whole look but I will be focusing more on the eyes! I will still be linking everything I used on this look though :) So let's get started...

Here's a close up of the eye make-up, I took this myself and I don't really know how to pose for an eye makeup picture lol so I'm sorry if it's not that pleasing but as you can see the look is more of a rose-gold toned glam. It's not really dramatic either, it's just very simple.

For this look I used 2 palettes. These are The Chocolate Gold by Too Faced which by the way I got for Christmas from my boyfriend :) and my all time favourite Naked Heat by Urban Decay.

For the Chocolate Gold, I used 3 shades: Cocoa Truffle, Famous and Rollin' in Dough
For the Naked Heat, I used 2 shades: En Fuego and Scorched

Rollin' in Dough - This shade is the perfect transition colour. Transition colour is important because it's going to be easier for you to apply your shadow and the colours will stick properly and will totally stand out. Apply this all over your lid and crease including your brow bone.

Cocoa Truffle + En Fuego - Mix these 2 shades so you will get that brown-orange toned shadow and then apply it all over your crease and your outer lid. After that, get some more of the En Fuego shade from the Naked palette and apply it on the outer lid again just so you can create that smokey effect.

It's important to blend all the harsh edges of your base. Blend everything with a blending eye-shadow brush! After some blending, it's time to add some glitter!

Famous - this beautiful glitter shadow will go all over your lid. Before applying it, it's important to put some concealer on your lid just so the shadow sticks and it will last longer.

Scorched - For the last shade, this will give you the rose-gold effect since the shade famous is more on the pure gold shade. Get some of this and just pat it all over your lid but not to hard because you still want that gold shadow to stand-out.

For the last part get the shade En Fuego and apply it on your outer water line but just half because you will then get a little bit of the shade Famous and put it on your inner water line. So both shades will meet in the middle. Again, grab your blending brush and blend everything out!! Blending is the key! :)

To finish off this look wear your favourite fake lashes. I am wearing the "Belle Strip" lashes by Glad Lash (Gifted) as mentioned on their website it's a naturally spaced out clusters of medium length hairs tapering towards the nose with shorter lengths. I actually received 2 lashes and a lash glue as well and this is my favourite! I fell in love with these lashes right away because it's so comfy in the eyes, it's not irritating and it doesn't feel heavy. Another thing I love is, it's the perfect length for my eyes I didn't have to cut it so that's nice, less work for me! Also can I just mention how awesome their lash glue is? I lovee love it! It's very creamy but not very thick, you don't have to put a lot on the lashes but even so it's still sticks very well. Another thing I love about their lash glue is it's black so it kinda gives you the illusion of you wearing a very thin eye liner but not really so that's cool. You just have to be careful when sticking it on your eye though because it can stain your eye lids! :) So if you're looking for a beautiful pair of lashes and a glue that can actually stick fake lashes I am totally recommending Glad Lash. 10/10 :)
